Publicity Club of Chicago's Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor presented by the Publicity Club of Chicago, recognizing an individual who has made an extraordinary and lasting impact on the communications, marketing or public relations fields. This prestigious award celebrates a career defined by exceptional leadership, innovation, and contributions that have significantly advanced the industry.
Honorees are those whose work has inspired and shaped the future of our industries in Chicago and beyond. Their unwavering commitment to excellence, mentorship, and professional development has influenced countless others, leaving a powerful legacy that will continue to shape the industry for generations to come.
To nominate someone for the Publicity Club of Chicago's Lifetime Achievement Award for the 67th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards, you have the option to provide links to two professional highlights. The professional highlights can be a profile piece, video content, presentation deck, or other media. Nominations must also include a narrative of up to 1000 words that demonstrate the case for the nominee to receive PCC's Lifetime Achievement Award.
The PCC Nominating Committee will judge nominees in five areas:
- Advocate for the Industry; did they promote the professions of communications, marketing or public relations?
- Impact on the Industry; did they change practices in communications, marketing or public relations?
- Impact in the Midwest; did they change their community?
- Career Longevity; how long did they practice communications, marketing or public relations?
- Unique Factor; were they a pioneer of any kind or did they operate in a way that separated themselves from the pack?
Nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award must be submitted by Friday, June 6 at 11:59 PM CST. Questions can be submitted to office@publicity.org.
The winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award will be honored at the 67th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards Ceremony which is taking place on the evening of Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago's Crystal Ballroom.
