Sales & Operations Director | News Exposure

The Sales & Operations Director will report to News Exposure’s CEO and work with him to proactively identify opportunities and solutions to support the business. This will include analyzing data, identifying trends and presenting insights to influence decisions. The person who fills this role will coach managers and employees to ensure their concerns are addressed and will promote leadership initiatives across the company. 


  • Establish a sales and operations structure and implement strategies to deliver service levels in order to grow revenue
  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers
  • Interpret data, identify trends that signal new opportunities or challenges and convert data trends into actionable processes
  • Serve as an escalation point for the resolution of a process and/or system issue between the sales and the production departments
  • Act as an advocate by balancing the sales department’s needs while managing reasonable expectations from an operational perspective
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Manage a team of approximately 9 direct reports

  • Influential negotiation skills are necessary



  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales/marketing, or related discipline
  • 7-10 years of industry experience working in sales, business or marketing operations, or business management and leading a team
  • Experience as a sales rep or manager is a plus
