Kelly Bauer is an award-winning multimedia journalist and photographer. She is the breaking news editor for Block Club Chicago, a non-profit digital news publication covering the city’s neighborhoods. Bauer coordinates coverage of breaking news in the city, writing multiple stories daily and organizing reporters. She also edit stories and newsletters, manages special projects, and creates interactive maps and graphics so readers can better understand data in Block Club's stories.

Prior to joining Block Club in January 2018, Bauer worked at DNAinfo Chicago from May 2015 to November 2017. At DNAinfo she primarily covered breaking news and crime, with a focus on memorializing victims of Chicago’s gun violence and helping readers understand how violence impacts the city’s families. At DNAinfo she covered national events like the protests over the police shooting death of Laquan McDonald and the CEO of Chicago Public Schools pleading guilty to corruption charges in 2015. Bauer also focused on human interest stories that highlight the people hit hardest by the city’s violence, covering mothers slain in front of their children and the assassination of a 9-year-old boy, but also showcasing the way communities have rallied to fight violence and injustice.

Bauer regularly takes photos, produces videos, and participates in radio and TV segments. She speaks with high school and college journalism students, and mentors and encourages young reporters.

Lisa Fielding is an anchor and reporter for Newsradio 780. She brings three decades of news and sports, radio and television broadcasting experience to WBBM.

In addition to her duties as anchor and reporter at WBBM, she is an adjunct graduate instructor for the Advanced Video Production/TV Reporting class at the prestigious Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Chicago campus and sits on the Program Advisory Committee of the Illinois Media School.

She is the afternoon drive anchor and is a general assignment reporter three days a week. Lisa specializes in sports, entertainment, health and human interest stories. Starting December 6, 2021, she will also host “Backstage Chicago” a new weekly podcast on the local arts and cultural scene for the Audacy all-news station.

Amanda Vinicky is a correspondent and segment host for WTTW's "Chicago Tonight", where she focuses primarily on Illinois government and politics—though her insatiable curiosity leads her to cover a little bit of everything. Vinicky joined “Chicago Tonight” in 2017, after spending a decade as the Statehouse Bureau Chief for NPR Illinois and the Illinois Public Radio network. She also co-hosted WSEC-TV’s “CapitolView,” and was a regular analyst on the “State Week” roundtable. Her work and analysis has been featured on shows including NPR’s “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered” and “The Takeaway,” and she’s garnered top honors from the Illinois Associated Press and the Association of Capitol Reporters and Editors.

Vinicky also serves as the President of the Headline Club of Chicago, the nation’s largest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, as well as an independent nonprofit dedicated to supporting journalists and promoting the values of a free press across the region.

Vinicky received her master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield and has degrees in political science and journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She began her career in the Chicago suburbs (where she grew up) as a newspaper reporter. She loves mustard, hot sauce, podcasts, yoga and traveling (though she doesn’t do nearly enough of it). Vinicky’s always looking for stories to tell, foods to try, books to read and new places to discover.
