2026 Year in Review
Join the Publicity Club of Chicago at Columbia College Chicago for our annual Year in Review luncheon, bringing together colleagues from across news and communications to reflect on 2026 and look ahead to 2027.
Our panel will examine the stories, trends and decisions that shaped the year. From the midterm elections to the expanding role of AI, changing news consumption and the challenges of building public trust, we’ll explore what these developments mean for journalists, communicators and the communities they serve.
The discussion will offer perspectives on the evolving relationship between newsrooms and communications professionals, the changing business of journalism, and how organizations can communicate effectively in an increasingly fragmented media environment.
Join us for lunch, conversation and an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues as we close out the year.
